Kate Sweeney is a self-taught fine art/portrait photographer born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She aims to make honest work that is simultaneously defiant and inviting. In exploring themes of memory, identity, and freedom, Kate takes an empathetic approach in her work by creating a safe space for those in front of the camera to go to their deepest places of self-expression.
