Cassidy Brauner Jarrahi is an Ohio-born artist whose work investigates the vernacular and historically overlooked images, objects, and stories. She explores the intersections of the personal and the public through photography, video, performance, and mixed media, often incorporating found and repurposed imagery. Cassidy’s practice challenges singular definitions of reality, unpacking layered narratives in both familiar and unexpected forms. She currently teaches in the Photography and Integrated Media program at Ohio University, where she emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, student-centered learning, and community engagement.
